This page describes what information Kensink Labs collects about visitors to kensink.com, why we collect it, where it lives, who else sees it, and how long we keep it. We try to write this in plain English. If anything is unclear, email hello@kensink.comand we'll rewrite it.

1 · What we collect

There are two places where we collect personal information:

1.1 The contact form

When you submit the form on our contact page, we receive:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your company
  • Your role (optional)
  • The intent of your request (which service you're asking about)
  • The timeline you have in mind (optional)
  • The message you wrote
  • The page that referred you to our site, and any UTM parameters that came with your visit
  • Whether you accepted this privacy policy

1.2 Analytics and ad pixels

Like most websites, we run analytics and ad-measurement scripts so we can understand what content is useful and which channels are worth spending on. All of these are wired through one universal tracker (src/lib/analytics) and each provider initializes only if it's been configured. Currently active providers:

  • Google Tag Manager · the primary tag-loading container (GTM-MVJ9VXS5) — pushes page views, form submits, and conversion events into the dataLayer and fans them to GA4 and other tag-platform vendors.
  • Google Analytics 4 · page views, route changes, form submits, blog/case study reads. Loaded via gtag.js with a single measurement ID; the Tag Manager container is also loaded (empty for now) so ad-platform tags can be added without code changes.
  • Meta Pixel· page views + a “Lead” conversion event when you submit the contact form. Used to measure which Facebook / Instagram ads (if any) brought you to us.
  • LinkedIn Insight Tag · page views + conversion events. Used to measure which LinkedIn campaigns drove the visit.
  • Cloudflare Web Analytics · privacy-preserving, cookie-free page-view counts and Web Vitals. Anonymized at the edge.
  • Sentry · captures unhandled errors and exceptions (client-side runtime bugs, server-side worker exceptions) so we can fix them. Configured to not send performance traces, session recordings, or profiling — only errors. No personally identifying information is attached by default.

Where consent is required, advertising pixels do not fire until you opt in via our cookie banner.

2 · Where it lives

Your contact form submission travels to two destinations:

  • Cloudflare D1 · an encrypted, EU/US edge database where we store the submission for sales follow-up.
  • Notion · our CRM. Each submission becomes one row tagged with your intent, so the right engineer answers your message.

Analytics and pixel data live with the platforms named in section 1.2, subject to their own privacy policies.

3 · How long we keep it

We keep contact-form submissions for 24 months by default, then permanently delete them. If you ask us to delete sooner, we will. Email hello@kensink.comwith “delete my data” in the subject line and we'll confirm the deletion within seven business days.

4 · Sub-processors

We use a small number of third-party services to operate the website and the contact pipeline. Each one is subject to its own privacy policy and data-processing terms:

  • Cloudflare · hosting (Pages), edge runtime (Workers), database (D1)
  • Resend · transactional email delivery (autoreplies, internal notifications)
  • Notion · CRM record-keeping
  • Sentry · error monitoring (no PII in error breadcrumbs)
  • Google Analytics 4 & Tag Manager · analytics
  • Hotjar · session recording (anonymized)
  • Meta, LinkedIn, Google Ads · advertising pixels (only when consent given)

5 · Cookies

We use a granular cookie banner with three categories: functional (required, no opt-out — small things like remembering your dismissed banner), analytics (GA4 + Hotjar — opt-in), and advertising (Meta / LinkedIn / Google Ads pixels — opt-in). You can change your choices at any time by re-opening the banner from the link in the footer.

6 · Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correctit, if it's wrong
  • Deleteit (we'll do it within seven business days)
  • Export it in machine-readable form

Email hello@kensink.com with the request, and reference the email address you used when you wrote to us, so we can find your record.

7 · Contact

Privacy questions, complaints, or right-to-delete requests: hello@kensink.com.

We'll respond to every request within seven business days. If you don't hear back, write to us at our New York address (listed on the contact page).
